10 lessons for £99

The 10 lesson offer is split 6 at the beginning, and 4 for the week of your test with normal lesson rates charged in between. All lessons to be taken congruently and no longer than a 2 week interval between. The offer will not apply to those individuals who book a test without the instructors prior knowledge.

The term lesson is a duration of 1 hour, and the offer is for three bookings of 2 hour sessions. Where an offer is taken 10@£99 it is entirely at the instructors discretion when the lessons can be redeemed. When taking the 10@£99 offer, instructors will permit the pupil to take an initial set of hours when starting their lessons and the remaining balance when they reach test standard, again, at the instructors discretion.

All offers apply only if a test has not been booked prior or during the offer period, otherwise the normal rate in your area applies. There can not be a break between the offer lessons of more than 2 weeks, otherwise the remaining lessons will be forfeited. This offer is purely to assist in continuity of learning, ultimately leading to you passing within the UK average time frame. Abuse of these offers will result in the remaining lessons being revoked without possibility of refund. (this does not affect your statutory rights.) All offers are non refundable unless otherwise specified. This offer is strictly for beginners only (those individuals who have never driven previously). Your instructor is a self-employed franchisee of Pass Power Driving School.

Lessons
The contract for driving tuition is solely between you and your instructor. You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the timing, location and duration of individual lessons.

You must notify your instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition, for example, but not limited to, any lack, or loss, of a valid provisional driving licence.

Pass Power Driving School Limited acts as agent for your instructor in receiving Your payments for driving tuition, other than payments made directly by you to your instructor. Where Pass Power Driving School makes bookings with, or supplies any information or documentation to you, or processes any payments for your lessons, they act as the agent of your instructor.

Cancellations

If you or your instructor wish to cancel a lesson a minimum of 48 hours prior notice should be given. Cancellations must be made directly between you and your instructor. If you do not give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, your instructor will be entitled to charge for the lesson(s) concerned.

Payments and lesson bookings

Pass Power Driving School will not accept responsibility for advance payments or cash, or cheques payable to instructors. Where payments are made direct to the driving instructor,Pass Power Driving School will not accept any responsibility for any acts, default or failure on the part of the Instructor to carry out his/her obligations. If you do pay your instructor directly by cash, cheque or card payment, You should obtain a receipt. Pass Power Driving School accepts no responsibility for any payments made direct to instructors.

Price changes

The price of lessons which have not been prepaid as part of a block booking may be changed at any time. You will always receive prior notice of such changes. The cost of prepaid tuition is based on the lesson price in force at time of booking, and will be honoured for 12 months thereafter irrespective of any price increase that may occur between the date of booking and when the lessons are taken. Any unused lessons remaining after 12 months have elapsed shall have any lesson price increase applied.

Transferability of lessons You cannot sell or transfer lessons which have been purchased in your name to any other person without consent.

Liability

Your instructor & Pass Power Driving School Limited are not liable to you for any loss or damage caused where, and to the extent that: there is no breach of a legal duty owed to you by the relevant person or body such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of such a breach any such loss or damage, or increase in the same, results from any breach or omission by you any such loss or damage results from circumstances or matters outside of the reasonable control of the relevant person or body Your instructor & Pass Power Driving School Limited shall not, in any event, be liable for losses relating to any business interests you may have including, without limitation, lost profits, loss of opportunity or business or business interruption. You are reminded that Pass Power Driving School are not parties to the contract for driving tuition itself, which is between you and your instructor. This does not affect any liability that Pass Power Driving school Limited may have for any loss or damage you may incur which is caused directly as a result of any breach (including negligence) by it or them of any legal duty owed by it or them to you.

You will be taught by a self employed driving instructor who is franchised to Pass Power driving school.

All payments and the teaching contract are between the individual driving instructor, who is regulated by any industry code of conduct and who licensed by the driving standards agency, to teach people to drive, and the pupil. Learn more driving schools "booking office" does not handle money on behalf of driving instructors as all instructors are franchised on behalf of the school on a self-employed basis. . Any payments made to the school online are transferred immediately to the instructor who is allocated to teach the learner. The booking office does not have records of lesson payments between pupils and the instructors. It is each driving instructor's responsibility to manage his / her business practices correctly, and if that is ever less than satisfactory, we will use all our powers to resolve any dispute. All lesson payments and therefore any unlikely descrepancies are between the instructor and pupil. Pass Power driving schools booking office does not handle pupils money or keep track of lessons. It is the driving instructors and pupils responsibility to keep track of all lesson payments and we 'the school' provide stationary for instructors to keep track with the pupil. In the event of any discrepancies or issues we 'the school' will endevour to negotiate with the instructor for an amicable resolution to all issues, however final responsibility with all issues regarding lesson payment and organisation is between the instructor and pupil.

Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer. Law applying to terms and conditions These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales Driving licence and eyesight You must hold a current valid licence (either provisional or full) which must be produced on the first lesson. You must also be able to read a number plate from a distance 20.5 metres (67 feet) using your glasses if normally worn.

Payments and who teaches you

Lesson payments should be made at the beginning or end of each lesson. Our franchised instructor's accept Cash and personal cheques made out to the instructors name. Where an intensive or semi intensive course is booked a £100 deposit will be required. This is a non-refundable deposit save exceptional circumstances, where a refund is at the discretion of the instructor. Where the instructor in unable to undertake the course for whatever reason then a full refund will be given. The balance of the course cost should be paid at least two weeks before the course start date. Use of the vehicle

In the interest of yours and the public's safety, we reserve the right to withdraw the use of the training car for the driving test, if in our opinion, your driving is potentially or actually dangerous.

Punctuality

After arriving at your nominated pick up point for your lesson but there is no reply at the address in question, we will wait approximately 15 minutes. If after 15 minutes, you have not made contact or we are unable to reach you, the lesson will be abandoned and you will be required to pay for the lesson(s) in question.

Test -Tests, although paid for by the candidate are not guaranteed at the end of hours booked. If the standard of driving REQUIRED BY THE INSTRUCTOR for the practical test has not been reached, extra hours will need to be booked, paid for and instruction given before the candidate is taken for test. (Instructors discretion) -If your instructor is too ill or the vehicle has broken down and cannot attend your driving test we Pass Power Driving school are not responsible for any lost fee. We will try and assign you a new instructor and car so that the DSA test fee is not lost, if availability permits. -The school/instructor cannot be held responsible for tests cancelled by the DSA for any reason. Refunds - If your driving instructor becomes too ill or unable to continue the training or has a broken down vehicle for example and you wish to change instructor, wherever possible another vehicle / Driving instructor will be arranged for you and your current instructor will refund your outstanding lesson payments. If no vehicle / instructor is available the driving instructor who you paid will refund all monies outstanding within 7 days of the last lesson.

It is hereby expressly agreed that these terms and conditions are made solely between the instructor and pupil and that no contractual relationship exists between the school and pupil. Subsequently, the pupil acknowledges that the school has no liability to the pupil in respect of any loss, injury or damage arising from the use of the tuition vehicle or from any acts of omissions of the instructor or any instructor substituted.
